Tracking the Elected Ones

Developer pTracker launched a new $10 news discovery app for the iPhone called PoliticoTracker -- you can  sort and track real-time news about elected officials with this nifty app. Call it  a politically themed Google News Alerts tool for the iPhone;  the app uses metadata to cross-reference multiple government databases allowing you to sort news by business events, industries, states, world news, government agency, or publication. The Twitter edition can be set to keep track of individual politico's tweets.

Recession Trend: More Men Spending Time Online

According recent "netnograophic"  research conducted by MadeMan.com via Break Media, young males in the U.S. remain nonplussed regarding their financial well being despite the continued recession. About 75% of men surveyed said they feel the same or more optimistic about their future career prospects and continue living life as usual, meaning they will continue to spend on computers, mobile phones, electronics, games, iPods, etc. (more…)
