Google’s Crisis Response Crisis Map

Yesterday was the first time I had ever experienced an earthquake while sitting in a movie theater (at least from what I can remember), and today was the first time I learned about Google’s Crisis Response Crisis Map. Coincidence? Whether you want to track Earthquakes around the globe, watch out for Tropical Storm / future Hurricane Isaac, or any of the other items tracked by the GDACS – Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System – that is the place. Someone should use the map & icons to simulate what it would have looked like throughout the course of John Cusask’s 2012…
