I got in to work this morning, and while I wanted to be productive right off the bat, my Windows told me it needed time to update, this WordPress told me that 2.6.2 > 2.6.1, and my iTunes told me it as well was ready for a makeover. Or, maybe not a makeover, but apparently 7.7.1.11 was so last week, and now, its 8.0, baby. So I let them do their update thing, and I updated my morning with an Everything bagel with cream cheese. High five. Anyways, just wanted to throw out my take on iTunes 8.0 : Album Artwork view (pictured above) is nice. The “Genius” feature tells me that The Flaming Lips would work well in a playlist with Beck, the Islands, Wilco, The Arcade Fire, and Gnarls Barkley. But with some 8 days worth of music on this machine, I’m not too excited about the program now gobbling up 250 megs of RAM, not unlike how I took down that bagel.
And speaking of updates, we’ve done some of our own as well.
