Social Media Tip: Promoting Your Social Media Presence

By July 13, 2010 No Comments

So you’ve created a Facebook profile for your business, set up a Twitter account to keep the public informed, continued to add fresh content to your company’s blog, and have put a lot of effort into other social media outlets… now what?

The next step is both obvious and extremely important: you need to drive traffic to these sites in order for them to be effective.  The easiest and most common way to promote your social networking presence is by including links on your current site.  However, there are other ways to get the word out about your online social media presence, which you may not have thought of, including sending social links through your email.

Whether it’s to one person, or an entire mailing list, you can do this by either creating simple text links under your signature, or by using plugins such as WiseStamp, which allows you to customize your signature, add icons/links to your social media profiles, and even add an RSS feed to show your latest blogs.

Please share your thoughts about what you are doing to Promote and Grow your business online.  Or ask our Ninthlink Pros how to help.
